Settlement that fits the transaction.
Torix can combine product procurement with suitable payment and financing structures for eligible international transactions. The available structure depends on the buyer, product, transaction value, destination, issuing bank, required tenor and approval by the relevant partner.
Procurement · trade execution · financing support · one commercial relationship
The structures most trades settle on.
Simple, fast and bank-familiar. The document set is the same under every structure: invoice, packing list, origin, transport and inspection documents, matched and presented together.
An agreed advance on contract confirmation, balance by bank transfer against the shipping documents. No bank issuance and no lead time; the contract is the setup. The split is agreed per transaction.
The balance is paid to receive the shipping documents, through the banking channel where agreed. Cargo control and payment discipline are the same mechanism, stated plainly in the contract.
Bank undertakings, at sight or deferred.
Documentary credits are governed by ICC UCP 600. The buyer's bank pays on compliant documents; a confirmed variant adds a second bank where country or bank risk calls for it.
Payable at sight against conforming documents. The bank's undertaking replaces the deposit wire, and Torix is paid on presentation. Bank charges follow the issuing bank's schedule, confirmed at quotation.
Same mechanics, deferred settlement: the bank pays at an agreed tenor after document presentation, so the buyer settles after the cargo has landed and started moving. The tenor is fixed in the contract.
Extended structures, independently underwritten.
Where a buyer wants terms beyond the standard structures, independent partners can underwrite the trade directly. Torix is not a regulated lender, broker or financial adviser; the terms come from the lender, not Torix.
An independent financier settles the trade against the document set and the buyer repays the lender on the schedule in their term sheet. The financier underwrites and contracts with the buyer directly.
Terms supported by the buyer's own credit arrangements, or other structures proposed by the buyer's bank. Considered case by case, subject to approval, and stated in the quotation when available.
Structured around the whole trade cycle.
Coverage depends on the approved structure; nothing below is automatic. Each element is stated in the term sheet or contract for the specific transaction.
Procurement & production
Product procurement and production-stage payment obligations, where the approved structure provides for them.
Freight, insurance & documents
Freight, insurance, documentary and transaction costs, where the structure extends to shipment-side charges.
Shipment to settlement
The period between shipment and buyer settlement, matched to the agreed tenor and the buyer's working-capital cycle.
